Brand Strategist
To support our expanding business, Bold Scandinavia is looking for a driven brand strategist with a strong agency background to join our Stockholm studio.
As a strategist at Bold, you will lead the strategic phase of projects – from research, analysis, and synthesis to creating impactful brand strategies and platforms. You will shape narratives, positioning, and brand architectures, and write compelling briefs that inspire world-class design.
We are looking for someone who thrives not only in developing strategies but also in building relationships with clients and contributing to new business opportunities. You should enjoy being in the room with clients, presenting ideas, and helping us win exciting projects both in Sweden and internationally.
Main responsibilities
- Develop impactful brand strategies and platforms for a wide range of clients.
- Create solid brand architectures, naming systems, and positioning frameworks.
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative research to generate insights.
- Develop strategic recommendations for brands in both digital and physical environments.
- Write inspiring, directive briefs that spark creativity and innovation.
- Lead strategic phases and collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams.
- Actively participate in new business efforts and enjoy engaging with potential clients.
- Challenge and guide clients to make clear, purposeful brand choices.
Who we think you are
- You bring at least 3 years of experience in a brand, design, or communications agency (client-side experience is a plus, but agency work is essential).
- You have international experience or have worked with global brands, giving you a perspective that travels across markets.
- You’re a confident communicator and facilitator who enjoys engaging clients and colleagues alike.
- You combine deep theoretical knowledge with practical experience in brand building.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a proven ability to work across industries, geographies, and business models.
- You are comfortable not just shaping strategies but also contributing to agency growth through sales, pitches, and client meetings.
Requirements
- Proven track record in leading brand strategy work in both B2C and B2B, at national and international levels.
- Relevant academic background in business, marketing, economics, or design.
- Strong presentation skills and client-facing experience.
